At the start of May, let’s celebrate the Celtic fire ceremony of Beltane: a great time to fertilize & share ideas we’ve been nurturing for months. Symbolically, May Day is when Mother Earth’s creative dragon energy is enticed to rise up & become fertilized by the sun. On this day, bonfires & beacons may be lit & dances performed, perhaps around a maypole, to symbolize this sacred marriage. It is by offering songs & dances to reflect the land in which we live, that Nature will, in turn, rise up to honor our needs.  

During this busy astrological time, be ready for some uncertainty as secrets surface about people & institutions we believed were invincible (Scorpio full moon 23/24^th April). But with such disillusionment comes the freedom to live & love our lives fully, inspired by the Jupiter/ Uranus meeting in Taurus on 20th. This meeting, linked to the start of Passover on the 22^nd, encourages us to take a risk, leaving behind jobs, people, stories & beliefs that only give the illusion of security while keeping us enslaved & beholden to the whims of others. True security comes from within, as we step forward to embody the truth of who we are.

As we approach Earth Day on 22^nd April, let’s remember the rich healing resources offered by Mother Nature, some of which are right beneath our feet. Studies show improvements in sleep, mental health, inflammatory problems, heart disease & much more when we take time in nature, rooting into Mother Earth & allowing her energies to heal us. We're being increasingly showered by galactic & solar winds: staying healthy on all levels, requires opening ourselves to Nature's healing energies.

Total solar eclipses are not rare, but this one in Aries on April 8^th, is destined to activate energies both within ourselves & Mother Earth. With Chiron, the wounded healer & Mercury, the communicator, joining the Sun & Moon, it’s a great time to take back personal authority, start something new or communicate past hurts, so you can move forward with joy. Serpent energies are being activated within sacred sites, inside the ancient Arks & at the base chakra with kundalini activation. Together, healing & activation create a new world.

In this Aries rich month with a solar eclipse on 8^th April, it’s appropriate to ask: who will fight or stand up for you? Without parental protectors, maybe due to abuse, absence or neglect, a child learns to armor themselves, become independent & even become the defender for others. But such actions have consequences, for we’re meant to trust love whether from the spirit world, Mother Earth or by nesting into the arms & hearts of friends & family who are waiting to stand by us, in loving ways we deserve.

As our ancestors knew & I recently discovered, opportunities abound to harmonize with our soul's path - synchronicities - when we follow our heart, 'get out of our own way' & align with cosmic events. These include the return of the wise serpent at the spring equinox, welcoming new beginnings at a solar eclipse & developing our light body at Easter (especially when it's correctly aligned to the new moon!) 

 

As Saturn & Neptune draw close in Pisces, it’s good to stay intuitively focused on the true path of healing that’s much more than reducing symptoms. It is the path to wholeness & enlightenment directed by the co-operative focus of the soul, higher self & Divine intention. As our light body grows, possibilities abound within our imagination. Yet we’re willing to let go of rigid ideas, bypass exaggerated promises, & take back our power, aligning with those things that bring loving resonance with our true essence. Magic then happens!

At this new moon in Pisces, we're showered with high frequency Universal light bringing creative ideas, unlimited possibilities & pure love. First to receive this divine light is our deep heart, ready to use its amazing healing powers to transform & transmute denser energies through a desire to create a better world for all. Never before has our own energy field been at such a high frequency to be able to attain such goals, as long as our heart is free to receive the light. The concluding meditation, helps to free the heart from any limiting thoughts or old emotions. Enjoy!

Are you a superhero? Do you secretly pride yourself in being more responsible, capable, resilient, intelligent, empathic or resourceful than other people? Despite the valuable service provided, does the cloak of expectations ever feel too heavy? To be truly in service, balance is essential between the give & take - doing & resting, recognizing the signs when things are out of equilibrium, ready to remove the super hero cloak & find reassurance in our inner light that requires no validation.

Encoded within myths of every culture is the path to spiritual enlightenment. One such Hindu tale, enshrined within the exquisite carvings at Angkor Wat, is the Churning of the Sea of Milk. It reveals that spiritual growth comes from a balanced respect for our innate duality, focused attention, periods of self-reflection, facing our inner darkness, avoiding spiritual pride & learning to handle our spiritual powers. The nectar of immortality awaits us now!
